Chad Fischer

Account Director

Chad Fischer joined RunSwitch PR as an account director in 2026 following 13 years working in professional baseball and two years working in NCAA Division I athletics. He brings lengthy media relations and digital media experience to RunSwitch, where he works with clients in areas such as healthcare, legal reform, gaming and the spirits industry.

Background

A Louisville native, Fischer spent eight seasons guiding social media efforts for Major League Baseball’s Cincinnati Reds. He helped build the digital content team that routinely had the Reds in the top 10 among MLB clubs in fan engagement during his tenure and held the role of Director of Social Media at the time of his departure. Before to his time in the big leagues, he began his career in sports in the minor leagues, directing media relations and social media while also ticket servicing for the Triple-A Louisville Bats.

Most recently before RunSwitch, Fischer coordinated media relations and oversaw coverage of athletic events for statistics, photography, social media, and video and radio broadcasts at Bellarmine University. He served as the primary media contact for men’s basketball and men’s lacrosse, among others.

Fischer is a graduate of the University of Louisville. He and his wife, Brittany, reside in Louisville with their children, Charlie and Sophie.
