Jennings joins exclusive community of Leadership Kentucky alumni

(Louisville) RunSwitch PR co-founder Scott Jennings graduated today as part of the Leadership Kentucky class of 2014. The graduation ceremony took place on the campus of Northern Kentucky University. He joined 63 other Kentuckians in this year’s class, a diverse group of the state’s most important business and civic leaders.

The program began in May, and each month the class has participated in policy sessions in different cities across Kentucky. The class studied topics like health care, state government, agriculture, education, corrections, economic development, and energy policy.

“It was an honor to be chosen for this year’s class. I was impressed with the ideas and perspectives of the other graduates, who brought an interesting set of experiences to our policy discussions,” Jennings said.A former aide to President George W. Bush and other national political leaders, Jennings has 18 years of experience in media, politics, public affairs and public relations, and crisis communications.

“I am grateful to the staff and board members of Leadership Kentucky for this tremendous opportunity, and for organizing informative sessions. The relationships I formed with other graduates and the things I learned about our Commonwealth gave me new perspective on the state’s challenges and opportunities,” Jennings said.

RunSwitch PR is Kentucky’s largest public relations firm. It was formed in 2012 by Steve Bryant, Gary Gerdemann, and Jennings. The firm’s partners and staff are engaged in some of the state’s highest profile public policy issues. The firm also prides itself on public service, volunteerism, and helping improve Kentucky’s business climate.
