Louisville, Ky. – RunSwitch PR Founding Partner, Gary Gerdemann, has been selected to participate in the Leadership Kentucky class of 2019. Leadership Kentucky was the fourth statewide leadership program developed in the United States and will celebrate its 35th Anniversary this year.

Standing alongside 54 other leaders from across the state, Gary will embark on a seven month program gaining insight on the Commonwealth of Kentucky and its challenges and opportunities.

Throughout the program Gerdemann and his fellow classmates will visit various locations across the state to meet with many of Kentucky’s current leaders covering topics ranging from business and economic development, arts and tourism, natural resources and the environment, education and healthcare, agriculture, and government.

“I’m honored to be selected by Leadership Kentucky and look forward joining the class of 2019,” said Gerdemann. “Leadership Kentucky is a great organization that brings people together across the state to help us as citizens better address the challenges we all face.”

Leadership Kentucky provides a thought-provoking experience focusing on the qualities of leadership and what it means to be a leader. By visiting different regions of the Commonwealth, the participants develop an enhanced view and a new meaning to the word community that is shown throughout the state.

Past Leadership Kentucky graduates include Scott Jennings, Founding Partner (Class of 2014), Les Fugate, Executive Vice President (Class of 2015) and Kaylee Price, Senior Vice President (Elevate Class of 2017). Fugate currently serves on Leadership Kentucky’s executive committee.

In addition to Leadership Kentucky, RunSwitch boasts several alumnae and current active participants in Leadership Louisville Center programs, including Focus Louisville, Ignite Louisville, Leadership Louisville and Bingham Fellows.
